St. Peter's Nursery School's teaching staff meets the high standards of both the EEC (Education for Early Childhood) and the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). We are licensed by the EEC and have been accredited by NAEYC. In addition, each member of our staff attends various early education workshops throughout the year.
Director Charlene Krig began at St. Peter's Nursery School in the Fall of 1983. She holds a B.A. in elementary education from Providence College. She is Lead Teacher and Director I qualified by the EEC.
Beth Daly is entering her 28th year at St. Peter's. She has completed early childhood courses at Cape Cod Community College and Fisher College and holds teacher certification with EEC. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. (All of whom are St. Peter's graduates!)
Jennifer Lawrence joined St. Peter's in
2005. She lives in Centerville with her husband and two children -- both
of whom are alums of St. Peter's Nursery School! She enjoys
volunteering at her children's schools, gardening, home improvement and
decorating projects, and spending time at the beach with her kids.
Beth Bommhardt has been at St. Peter's just under 3 years. She will be teaching her fourth class in the toddler and toddler plus room. She lives with her husband and family in Osterville. They have three children -- Lauren, Greg and Alex. She loves books, especially children's books, sewing, sailing and summers on Cape Cod. "Teaching young children has been a wonderful experience for me. I really enjoy my time with the little ones."
Lauren Buckley joined St. Peter's in 2007. She has a B.A. from St. Anselm College, and she has a master's degree in early childhood education from Wheelock College. She lives in South Dennis with her 5-year-old daughter.
